Small Beginnings

It’s New Year’s Eve!

I’ve spent the last couple of weeks thinking through what my 2023 vision board would look like, what things I want to continue to work on and what new elements to incorporate into mine and my family’s life.

But I’ve run into roadblocks because I realized that I was focused on the things I had not achieved this year—like not journaling as much I wanted to after returning to work, not catching up with my aunts and cousins as much as I intended to, working out literally five times since the beginning of October, not signing up for a public speaking course, and on and on. That’s not a great starting point!

A lot of great things have happened in 2022!

Things I didn’t think I was capable of like buying a domain name, starting an online blog, sharing ideas I wasn’t fully sure of with family and friends, starting and maintaining new self care rituals, posting more than three pictures on IG (just for Pausitive Outlook—not on my personal page :)) AND getting an Orchid to re-bloom after more than a year. I’ve never done that!

I’m so proud and take all of the things listed above (especially the orchid) as a sign that I can keep doing things I’ve never done before.

Looking forward to all of the wonderful adventures 2023 has in store!

Cheers!
